Introducing: Capital Crimes

Capital Crimes:

In 1957, hundreds of desperate Puerto Rican women unwittingly participated in a mass pharmaceutical trial that ended in death and disaster. In 1978, three teenage girls died in a fiery crash in Osceola, Indiana. In 2000, three USDA inspectors were shot to death by sausage factory owner Stuart Alexander. In 2010, entire families in St. Joseph’s Parish, Louisiana, disappeared due to cancer and cardiovascular disease. In 2023, a 16-year-old boy died after being pulled into a machine in a Mississippi poultry plant.

These are capital crimes: crimes committed by and for capitalists and their interests.

In a world where serial killers get their fair share of celebrity treatment, we’re turning the spotlight on the real mass killers: corporations.
